The Savior is not Mocked

When I think of the ways of man, how he glorifies God creations, rather than God himself. Man would rather emulate, imitate; dream, hope and trade it all to be like their favorite entertainer, celebrity, athlete, and whomever the Lord has created as themselves; that the Lord has power over, to give life and take it away. Yet man refuse to be like Jesus Christ, whose hand has all power, above every dominion, and every throne. Who is eternal and everlasting until the end of the world. Whose name is above every name and his spirit has conquered death. Who is it that is greater, that anyone would rather be like, rather than him. For the bible says: For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. ~Psalms 89:6-7 Yet man has no reverence unto God, and the word of God says; And worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever ~Romans 1:25

Yet still man lust after the things of this world more than the world to come. He devices ways to please himself and his sinful flesh, rather than seek to serve his Master and glorify him in works and deeds. I think of how this sore displeases God, who gave his life for us, while we were yet sinners, that we might have life more abundantly and inherit his kingdom; yet man would rather gain this world; and for what reason, when it shall all pass away. And the bible says what profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul. And what shall a man give in exchange for his soul. This world?

Yet so many of those same people who choose not to serve the Lord, are quick to call on the name of the Lord, when faced with great despair and trouble in their life. When life threatening sickness, or the weight of this world becomes to hard to bear. And God being a God of Mercy, comes to their refuge and deliver them out of their afflictions, in spite of their sinful ways. And beloved I know that sometimes it seems that these ungodly and unthankful souls are mocking your father, the Lord Jesus Christ. These people you see everyday, a neighbor, even a friend, maybe a family member, who the bible says; These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear. ~Jude 1:12 Them who don’t fear the Lord, and though they may acknowledge him in times of trouble, they serve him not. But I say unto you as Peter, when he said that the apostles told you that there should be mockers in the last day, who should walk after their own lusts. But beloved you should also know that the bible proclaim; Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you. ~2 Peter 2:13-14

Be not deceived, God is not mocked. No, the Savior is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh, and the lustful things in this world, shall reap corruption. And beloved we must continue to contend for the faith that was delivered unto us, and not be tempted or consumed with those that deny the only true and wise Savior. Because he is not mocked. Be encouraged by his word that says; For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. ~1 Peter 3:12

And to you that are lost, whom the devil has deceived to believe that this life and this world is greater than the Lord Jesus Christ. And has persuaded you to exchange your soul for things that will perish and be burned, just as you. For as Paul says; Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened ~Romans 1:21 Know that the Savior is not mocked; the wages for your sins is death. And he has preserved you unto the day of judgement. Unless you come to him...because He loves you and wants you to be separated from this world, believe on him and come; while there is still time. For the bible says the Lord having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. The Savior not mocked. Be not deceived.

You will receive a Just reward

Many of us look forward to receiving some type of compensation, recognition and or reward for what we have done or have accomplished in this life. And it seems to be a fair act and even just to those that are pleased with what they receive, whether they truly deserve to be rewarded or not. You won’t hear a well paid person complain about making too much money or that they’re not worthy of what they are rewarded, whether they’re worth it or not; This is this unjust world. But I believe the word of God to be true, and it is written "Yea Let God be true, but every man a liar", and I believe, if I am faithful to God unto death, then I shall receive a crown of life; as the word of God encourages me "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life" ~ Rev 2:10; . God assures me that he knows the struggles and hardships we will have to endure in this life and he promises we will rewarded for our works. The Psalmists says in Psalm 58:11 11So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth. And what is so good to know is that God is Just, and he will reward you justly. You see so many times we see people in this world with excessive gain, riches and prosperity, who labor in unrighteousness and ungodliness, and there professions and occupation, does everything but glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. And often times, many people are discouraged, as some people are rewarded with so much more than others, that are more deserving, but are rewarded with so little. They feel it is unjust that professionals like teachers, policeman, fireman, servicemen and health care professionals to name a few, are not rewarded as other professionals that simply entertain the masses, instead of taking care of and protecting the world. Even the people of God, who serve the righteous and Just One, Jesus Christ can be discouraged by the ungodly who prosper in the world, increasing in riches, glory, honor, and power; as we labor, toil each day in the work of the Lord; and if they are not careful, can be overtaken by envy; David was faced with this temptation, as he wrote in "But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked" ~Psalms 73:2-3. And he goes on to say: "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end" ~Psalms 73:17. David understood the ungodly shall not escape the day of judgement and its reward. Peter proclaimed that they shall utterly perish in their own corruption. After enjoying the pleasjures of this sinful life, the bible says they will awaken to judgement day as a dream; "As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image" ~Psalms 73:20.
But as for righteous, beautiful and beloved children of God, so great is your reward. Eternal Glory in the Kingdom of Heaven. The bible declares "The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward" ~Prov 11:18.

So let us not be weary in our well doing for in due season you shall reap a just reward, if you faint not. And though we suffer long the sin and corruption of this world; and endure the troubles of this life; I'm remoinde of the words of the Apostle Paul "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" ~Romans 8:18. So meditate on this beloved as it is the promise of God. And remember it is written, "Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward" ~2 John 1:18.

All for Himself

As a child many of us were prepared for life by our parents or a guardian; we were given instructions and guidance to help us find our purpose in this life, that we may be able to survive as adults. Now this is a good thing when you are being raised by saved and sanctified parents, that have been washed in the blood of the Lamb, baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost. You see if your parents are God’s righteous children then you are the seed of the righteous. They understood ~Proverbs 22:6 which says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. They taught you daily as the Apostle Paul taught the church in Ephesus; “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth” ~Eph 6:1-3. Your saved father, a holy man of God understood the word of God commanded him not to provoke his children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. But not all of us had saved parents that raised them according to the word of God. So chances are you were raised by unsaved parents like myself, and although they may have had some reverence to God, they didn’t raise you in the admonition of the Lord. They prepared for this life and encouraged that your purpose is whatsoever you desired for yourself. Whether it is to be a professional, intellectual, celebrity, athlete, artist or any other occupation you pursue; and if by chance you are content and maybe even successful, then you become persuaded that this is your purpose in life. That God created you to do, what it is that you do.
But beloved the truth is: God created you All For Himself. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. That would be you and I, we are his creation for himself; but even so the bible tells us in ~Isaiah 43:7, “Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
So you the Lord made you for himself and created you to glorify him in all that you do. He created you to praise him to worship him to serve him, to please him. And his pleasure is to have us all for himself to love for eternity, to shower us with his wonderful grace that we may enter into his rest, to be with him in the Kingdom of Heaven. He said in John: If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
And even if you choose not to serve him, but deny his love, and refuse to come unto him. He still loves you and is patiently waiting for you to come. But know this; if you choose to serve another master, the devil, then your life will end with eternal damnation. For Proverbs proclaim: “The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil” ~Proverbs 16:4
So beloved when you seek to know your purpose in this life, seek him who made you All for himself.

One Thing I Desire

As I think of all the things I desire, more than anything in life; it's to live forever with the Lord Jesus Christ. You see that's truly where my affections are. Above...in Heaven. No, I don't want to be rich more than anything in this world, because just like this dust of a frame that am, that will dissolve and fade away to be no more, so will all the fortune, fame and wordly things that I would hope to obtain. Oh what a joy it would be... to be with Jesus for Eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven.
So I live today in this sinful, perverse and wicked world, with Joy...Unspeakable joy, knowing that if I just hold on to my faith, that he'll soon be back for me, as he promised. If I be obedient to his word and keep myself unspotted from this world, one day he'll crack the sky and come for me, his beloved bride. I dare say if you don't have the same desire, then surely you don't know how good and sweet the Lord is. Surely you don't know him, and why he died for you. You don't know the power of his resurrection. If this is you, who don't share my desire, please join us here at this spiritual blog and allow us to minister unto you, that you may Taste and see, that the Lord is Good.
